Happy Friday! As you read this I am in Massachusetts for a conference. But fear not, the Green Grab Bag is still here!
- Mindful Momma is teaching us how to get produce without pesticides.
- Tiny Choices is teaching us how shutting off your computer can save a bunch of energy. You should check it out and try it...right after you finish reading my blog.
- Green as a Thistle is teaching us how to use apple cider vinegar as facial toner.
- I love this piece from Over Coffee about making your own all natural Easter egg dyes.
- Kalamazoo is the biggest city near me and I was amazed at the numbers in this blog about how much money and energy they are saving just by switching the traffic lights to LED. Can you imagine the difference it would make if every city did this?
Before you shop this week watch this great music video for some deep thoughts in harmony.
- Furniture made from re-claimed wood.
- Gotta love vintage handbags.
- Kid's Konserve, which I reviewed a few weeks ago is offering a chance to win a Lunch Kit.
Have a great weekend!

Thanks for the link — you'll be happy to know that MOST U.S. cities are switching from incandescent to LED traffic lights. (That's why it was driving me nuts that I couldn't find out about Kalamazoo)
Since you have small children and are making a better world for them, I thought of you when I read this article on Truth Out: http://www.truthout.org/040309J
First time here, and first -- thank you for your sweet comment. I am going to poke around your blog, because it looks very interesting! Glad I found you.
Thanks for the shout out. This post has been my most linked to post. You just never know what is going to get people talking. ;-) I would love to hear from anyone who has dyed eggs this way.
