I was recently contacted by a great company trying to make a difference in the way we pack and serve our kids food and the impact it has on our planet. Kids Konserve is a company that makes reusable products for packing kid's (and hubby?) lunches. The offer everything from cloth napkins to stainless steel bottles, and kits that include everything you need for lunch.
Now I have to admit that I don't have any school-age kids yet. But we are constantly going to lunch-time playdates where everyone brings a lunch and these would be perfect! And my husband takes his lunch to work every day and this tiffin would be great for him.
They also offer these ingenious party packs which are perfect for, well, parties...but also picnics, playdates, and saving your good silverware and china at home.
The napkins come with name tags on them so your kid can proudly label their reusable goods and you can purchase a recycled aluminum name tag for everything from lunch kits to backpacks. I love that all of the plastic is BPA free and made from 100% recycled yogurt containers. Talk about doing good all around!
Ok, here's where it gets really good for you...the deals!
- Just for Green Gracious readers! Receive 10% off your purchase with the coupon code: gracious. Valid until April 30.
- They are running an Earth Day: Message in a Bottle specials of a stainless steel bottle and recycled aluminum tag for just $9. Available through April 22.
- You Earn or Save 25% for Schools with Kids Konserve. Contact Christy at christy@kidskonserve.com for more details.

Seth is due to start primary school this coming September so this is a handy link for us. Thanks for sharing. x
here, food for children is most usually provided by their schools and kindergartens. but i am more than a little upset by the way their snacks are distributed - in little plastic bags. i do my best and reuse them several times, but still, it is just painful.
