Green Grab Bag 02.13.09

I am starting something new here at Green Gracious.  It's called the Green Grab Bag.  The idea is that every week while cruising the internet I find all kinds of cool ideas that I want to shout about from the roof-tops.  But, as my roof is kind of slippery right now and I don't think the deer really care, I have decided to share them every Friday with all of you.  So if you are goofing off on Fridays or have time to kill on the weekends, you will have great sites to see.
And finally if you are looking to do some shopping this weekend I found a few great things.
Have a very happy Friday and if you've seen any great sites this week, please share!

That looks like alot of fun making your own lipgloss. I love trying out new beauty products recipes on my own!

i just leave orange and tangerine peels lying around, i like the little smell surprises they provide as i pass them(i do cler them away after a few days).

the link i like the most is "the pressure to buy". it is a tough topic and one i worry much about. i am mostly pleased with my choice of having just enough to live decently, but is it fair to my children?

Tryingtobegreener-NO PROBLEM! Great post!

Summer-let me know how it goes and I will let you know how mine goes!

CC-thanks! I am glad you liked it.

Eva-it's a great link isn't it. I personally think it's the most fair thing you can do for your children. I think our world is in the place it is right now because people failed to do this with their children and those children did not learn financial and environmental responsibility. The best way we can teach our kids those things is to model them. Remember that envy, jealousy, and low self-esteem are often taught behaviours.
