Do you have a drawer that looks like this? I (obviously) do. Well, in all honesty it was much worst than this but I had to clear it up for demonstration purposes. Most of us have cord chaos happening somewhere in our house. Even my technologically challenged family has this beautiful mess of a drawer. So when I heard about this tip to reuse an old item to organize I was all over it. What is the old item you ask?
Cassette tape holders! You know, those little plastic (usually not recyclable) cases cluttering up some other part of your home? Yeah, those...pull the plastic buggers out and put them to work. Wind up your smaller cords (USB for camera, headphones, etc..) and place them in the cassette holder, like this:
And look what I did with all the little jump drives I had laying around.
I love the idea of having all these little things in one easy to find place. And look how much better the drawer has started to look!
Have you tried this? How did it work? Do you have another ingenious solution to share? Bring it on! I love hearing about and trying these cool ways to organize and help Mama E at the same time!

What a great idea! Few things make me happier than organizing. Now I need to find some cords just so I can do this!
That's a great idea! I love organizing...when I get around to it!
