Everett and I went in search of garage sales to replace the ever-growing number of pants Tucker goes through each week. We found some pants and also...

...and this trivet which works perfectly in my kitchen (for only a quarter!).

I got 4 denim chair covers to protect my white dining room chair cushions for $1 each!
I had an awesome g-sale weekend! We got a box of doll house furniture (some of the cutest stuff...coo-coo clocks, piano etc...) for .50.
We are planning to give the girl's seperate rooms in the fall,so I have been looking for furniture etc...to get ready so...we got...
A new toy box for the girl's room.
2 lamps for the girls' rooms.
A new throw pillow.
A twin over full bunkbed for Avery's room.
In addition to the girl's stuff, I also got an organic bamboo table runner and placemats and a mail organizer!
AND....about 10 clothing items for the girls (sweaters, summer dresses and shoes).
Everything cost me....$150.00 TOTAL!
For 6 pieces of furniture (with mattresses), and about 15 random items.
All second-hand, and everything was something that I was looking for!
That childs futon is adorable. I never knew they made one so small :-)
Oh I love good thrifty finds! We got some great plates and linens at our local charity shop last weekend :)
